Born in El Canal, a remote rural village of Eastern Cuba. In 1989 obtained the title of Electromechanical Senior Engineer, awarded by the Higher Institute of Machinery Construction of Zaporozhie Ukraine, then belonging to the USSR. Worked as an university professor at the Moa Higher Metallurgical Mining Institute, Holguin, where gave lectures on Power Electronics during five years. Currently, and for more than ten years, managing the Research and Development department of Equilab S.A, a Spanish company dedicated to the manufacture of equipment for sample preparation and laboratory chemical analysis. Expert in Power Electronics, with more than 25 years of experience in the design, service and repair of converters. Specialized in induction heating and motor control. Expert in design and programming of embedded systems, based on 8, 16 and 32 bits microcontrollers.
